FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is there a required uniform for rec soccer?

Yes, uniforms are available for purchase at Al’s Sporting Goods. They have both the SCSL and NUU logo on them and are navy and white reversible. You may also check Deseret Industries. Players must have shin guards and socks to cover the shin guards. A ball is advisable.

What areas do you serve?

Our program is part of the whole south end of Cache Valley and is in conjunction with the UYSA. We have area leaders for each of the individual cities.

When does rec registration begin, and how long is registration open?

Registration for the spring season usually begins in January and runs to mid-February. Registration for the fall season begins in July and runs for 3-4 weeks.

What can I expect for a recreation game schedule?

Teams typically have two games a week. The two games usually fall on a weeknight after 5 pm and on a Saturday. This may vary, is typically how it is over 80% of the time.

When do rec games begin? How long does the season last?

Games usually begin in the spring after spring break and end before Memorial Day. For fall, games usually start after Labor Day and end mid to late October.
